couple of things i'd like to say about your comment: 1. If I switch to a new location (other than a dark room) that would make my installation a bit problematic. The motion detecting lamps only work in complete darkness and getting a permit to actually install something in a corporate building would be impossible. 2. The light projection is going to be basically illegible if I do overkill with the design. It has to be a very bold sans serif with plenty of space around each letter because even if i switch to something different you wouldn't see the difference. The edges will blur. 3. One thing I do agree on is the fact that it needs another layer of interest but I don't have any suggestions at this moment... everything will depend on the space I pick to install this project.
and just fyi, this is just a sketch... i'm sure it's gonna look quite different when it's actually up.
I think that the current setup is too simple.
ReplyDeleteRather then a dark room, think of the lobby of a business tower or some other public space. With layered graphics.
Experiment with typefaces and styles. This is a great excuse to show off your skills.
