Shadows

Here's a little research that I did a while back on shadows+letter forms...
I came up with a book cover as an end result but I feel that I can take this shadows concept to great distances.

Trypophobia study

Hello world,

I have trypophobia and I want all of you to know about it!
I am trying to get rid of this phobia by:
Stage 1: Admit that I have a problem.
Stage 2: Face my fears by making as many holes and dots as I can and record+study my reactions and experiences that take place during each experiment.
Stage 3: Cure myself by being around holes and dots all the time, i.e. make dots on my underwear and buy polkadotted bed sheets that way any time of day or night I will be in direct contact with my fears. According to a lot of scientific studies this way of therapy is very effective in curing phobias (I'd know that because I majored in psychology for 2 years prior to switching to graphic design).

The following are my experiments where I think of a way to make holes and do them. Than I overlay the created object over another poster which shows my process/reactions/interesting things that took place while creating the piece that's on top of it.
The whole project is meant to be interactive where the viewer has to lift the top part in order to see what it took to create it.

The first poster is the Stage 1 where I'm admitting my problem. This is the beginning of Stage 2 where I'm exploring the subject and facing my fears.
Holes are cratedby a hole puncher and underneath that is a converstion that took place while I was looking to buy a hole puncher to crate the holes.
This is the conversation.

Holes made with a couple of hand guns at a shooting range. Underneath it is the lyrics of a song that was stuck in my head while I was shooting.

This is the lyrics.

Here's a window screen and the holes in it were drilled through. Underneath it is an info graphic which shows my level of aggravation while drilling the holes.
This is the infographic.
And this is a piece of paper in which I burned the holes. Underneath it is the process of how I burned the holes and the events that took place during and after the burning process. My actual thought process and the aftermath.
